Compatibility with iOS 7 – What iDevices are supported?
We are still in the period of iOS 7 beta versions but it is important to know which iDevice will support the official iOS 7 version. For the moment, only iPhone’s and iPad’s support the iOS 7 beta 2 version but we soon expect (around the mid of July) the next iOS 7 beta version that will be supported by the majority of the iDevices. The final and official iOS 7 version is expected to be released this fall and hopefully after a few beta versions we will be able to enjoy it without any major bugs.

The iDevices that will have full compatibility with iOS 7 version are the following:
- iPhone 4
- iPhone 4S
- iPhone 5
- iPhone 5S (6) – When it will be released
- iPad 2
- iPad 3
- iPad 4
- iPad Mini
- iPod Touch 5th Generation
As iOS 6 was supported by iPhone 3GS and iPod Touch 4G, they did not support all the features of the operating system, and this will happen exactly on iPhone 4. Probably more iDevices will not support all features of iOS 7 version, but Apple will announce that in a few months. Some of the most wanted features of iOS 7 are, AirDrop, Swipe and Panoramic photo, Square photos and video format, Live Camera filters and filters in photos app.
