In fact, many of the current jailbreak apps support only Windows and Mac operating systems. So, what can you do if you want to jailbreak your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch? Here are a couple of RedSn0w options for Linux OS users (and others). Option #1: If you don’t currently use Windows software at all, you could install Wine before you begin jailbreaking with Linux. Wine is FREE, Open Source, and allows Linux, Mac, FreeBSD and Solaris users to run Windows applications without having Windows software.
