Jailbreak for iOS 6.1.2 version – Untethered Jailbreak Tutorial!

Jailbreak for iOS 6.1.2 version – New Jailbreaking Tool!

After a few weeks from Apple’s release of iOS 6 version, a few members of iPhone Dev-Team tried to create a new method for a Jailbreak for iOS 6. After one week of hard work this new hacker team, the Evad3rs, managed to find all the exploits they needed to perform a Jailbreak for iOS 6. This jailbreaking tool is called Evasi0n, and it can jailbreak all iOS 6.x.x versions except the latest one, 6.1.3 iOS version.

For all those that have the 6.1.3 iOS version to their iDevices, they need to downgrade to a lower 6.x.x iOS version in order to be able to do a Jailbreak for iOS 6.1.2 version or other. The only way to downgrade to iOS 6.1.2 is to have already saved the SHSH blobs of that iOS version.

Tutorial for a Jailbreak for iOS 6.1.2 version with Evasi0n

Step 1: Download the Evasi0n tool from the evad3rs official website.

Step 2: Run as administrator the executable file (For Windows or Mac or Linux machines).

Step 3: Disable the passcode of your iDevice (Settings -> General -> Passcode Lock -> Turn it Off).

Step 4: Connect your iDevice to your computer and wait for evasi0n to detect it.

Step 5: After the detections of your iDevice from Evasi0n, you will be able to go for a Jailbreak for iOS 6.1.2 version by clicking the Jailbreak button.

Step 6: Several steps and actions will be made by Evasi0n, but you need to wait until Evasi0n asks you to unlock your iDevice. After unlocking it a Jailbreak app icon will appear to your Home Page, tap it only once.

Step 7: Jailbreak for iOS 6.1.2 version will be completed after a few minutes. Evasi0n logo will appear to your screen for a few seconds, but after that it will disappear and Cydia icon will be available to your screen.

Jailbreak for iOS 6.1.2 version – Not available SHSH blobs

If you have not saved the SHSH blobs from iOS 6.1.2 version, there is no way at the moment to perform an untethered Jailbreak for iOS 6.1.2 version. If you have an A4 chip device you will be able to use Redsn0w to perform a jailbreak, but it will be a tethered one.
