Step 2: Launch Redsn0w and plug your iDevice to your computer. If iTunes auto-launches close it.

Step 3: Click on the “Jailbreak” button and follow the on-screen instructions. You will be asked to place your iDevice into DFU mode.

Step 4: Make sure that the “Install Cydia” is clicked, and hit on “Next”. Let Redsn0w to apply all its exploits to 5.1.1 iOS version and your iDevice.

Step 5: After a few minutes your iDevice will be Jailbroken and you will be able to launch Cydia and download and install any application you want.
