This article is mainly to guide u about JailbreakerMe 3.0 devices it supports and a quick guide to use it.

About jailbreakerMe: 

JailbreakerMe 3.0 was realesed by Comex in 2011. It makes use of a PDF exploit just like the earlier version, JailbreakMe 2.0. This version supports the following iOS devices:

 
Important precautions BEFORE proceeding: 

Before you proceed just take care of things listed below:

  • Create a backup of your iOS device before you hack it.
  • Always make sure whether the jailbreaker is meant for for your device so first check whether your iOS device is running the supported iOS firmwares. JailbreakMe3.0 supports the following iOS devices and firmware:
    • iPad1: 4.3 through 4.3.3
    • iPad2: 4.3.3
    • iPhone3GS: 4.3 through 4.3.3
    • iPhone4: 4.3 through 4.3.3
    • iPhone4-CDMA: 4.2.6 through 4.2.8
    • iPod touch 3g: 4.3, 4.3.2, 4.3.3
    • iPod touch 4g: 4.3 through 4.3.3

 

Note:
Please note that the iPhone needs to be activated through iTunes first because JailbreakMe does not activate it.In addition to that users should also be aware of the fact that JailbreakMe does not unlock your iPhone. Therefore iPhone unlockers should use tools like PwnageTool or Sn0wbreeze to jailbreak their iPhone.

JailbreakMe is quite easy to use. Simply go to JailbreakMe.com on your idevice and locate the Free button under Cydia. Next as you tap the Install button this should jailbreak your iOS device and install Cydia which is similar to installing an iOS app from the App Store.
