From the iOS developer, Ori Kadosh, came this great Dashboard X idea. Dashboard X allows users to modify their iOS device’s homescreens by placing widgets straightly onto them. This is one great tweak that the jailbroken community should take pleasure in.

Dashboard X is very easy to navigate through specially for those who have owned an iDevice. You simply have to move your icons and play with iOS’ edit mode (also known as wiggle). Extra settings include letting the users choose whether the widget/icon will be interactive or not. This way, you can decide whether the widget can be changed, touched or simply be part of your wallpaper.

Dashboard X allows users to take existing widgets created for Notification Center and situate them anywhere on your homescreens. Another good thing about Dashboard X is that new widgets also under Dashboard X are being developed like DashTweet. This widget, from its name itself, will let you send tweets from anywhere on your homescreen. Many more widgets under Dashboard X are being developed by our jailbreak community, so be tuned in to this for more.

Dashboard X is available for download from ModMyi’s repo at $1.99. Such a small price for a very good tweak. This is something that you should not miss on your homescreens!
