AutoBrightness Cydia – New Tweak for your iPhone 4

The AutoBrightness Cydia tweak is a very new “product” that is availalbe from yesterday for free. The AutoBrightness Cydia tweak purpose is to auto adjust the brightness of your iPhone 4 according to the ambient light conditions of the enviroment that surrounds you. The difference with the iOS Auto-Brightness, is that the AutoBrightness Cydia tweak will decrease the brightness of your screen when the ambient light decreases too. I am sure that everyone experienced a situation that during sleep hours, you need to see something in your iPhone 4 or iPad, and the brightness of the screen hurts your eyes. This will not happen with the AutoBrightness Cydia tweak, because it will adjust the brightness according to the light of your room.

How to download and install the AutoBrightness Cydia tweak?

Since this is a Cydia tweak, you need to have a jailbroken iPhone 4, which can be achieve with Evasi0n (If you have iOS 6 to 6.1.2 versions) or with Redsn0w 0.9.15b3 (if you have 6.1.3 iOS version). You can find the AutoBrightness Cydia tweak in the BigBoss repo for FREE, just search for it and install it. By going to Settings and disable the iOS Auto-Brightness feature, the AutoBrightness Cydia tweak will take care of everything. After the installation, you do not have to reboot your iPhone 4, it can be used immediately.

Why to use AutoBrightness Cydia tweak instead of iOS Auto-Brightness?

The Auto-Brightness in iOS requires a little tweaking before using it and in the iOS 6 and after they managed to make it a little more “inteligent”. Unfortunately it is not as good as the AutoBrightness Cydia tweak, which does not require any configuration, and it works as it supposed to work!
